NCSE Annual Research Conference 2018 – Registration now open

The National Council for Special Education is pleased to invite you to our 2018 Research Conference.
Tuesday 20th November 2018 – 9:15AM – 4:15PM
The Hogan Suite, Croke Park Conference Centre, Dublin

Minister for Education and Skills will address the afternoon session.

This year’s conference will have two themes. The morning session will focus on lifelong learning and transitions from school for adults with disabilities. The keynote address will be given by Sheila Riddell, Professor of Inclusion and Diversity at the School of Education in the University of Edinburgh. It will also feature a presentation on NCSE’s commissioned review of educational provision for adults with disabilities in day services.

The afternoon session will examine the provision of speech and language, and occupational therapy services in schools, with presentations from Dr Eve Hutton of Canterbury Christ Church University, and Professor Elspeth McCartney of the University of Stirling.
