Across Dublin 15, schools, families, and the National Council for Special Education (NCSE) are working together to reshape how learners access appropriate school places. Rooted in the NCSE’s vision for a more inclusive education system, the Dublin 15 Autism Class Application Trial (D15 ACAT) introduces a unified, transparent process that reduces administrative burdens on families, strengthens collaboration with schools, and improves planning for specialist provision. This coordinated approach aims to remove long‑standing barriers, ensuring autistic learners can access the supports they need to thrive.
